Vision

The Sanctuary Byron Bay is absolutely unique in the world. No other treatment centre has the capacity to provide intensive and effective interventions for such a wide range of issues -from alcohol and drug dependence to mood disorders, chronic pain, general and post traumatic stress and eating disorders.

At The Sanctuary Byron Bay, we resist the usual urge to categorise people in diagnostic ‘boxes’. We understand that people are complex by nature and multi-faceted in their engagement with the world around them. We realise that what works for someone may not be as appropriate for another. Our programs are therefore never pre-designed. All Sanctuary programs are specifically customised and developed only after thorough assessments from a range of clinical perspectives.

We also understand that although our clients are here to change and to heal, they need not compromise on the comfort and responsiveness they expect from their environments. At The Sanctuary Byron Bay, you will feel like you are in a warm, protected, gracious home with a nurturing treatment team exclusively at your service.

The essence of our vision can be described as follows:

  • We create an exclusive healing experience that promotes clarity, holistic health and positive relationships;
  • We do this by creating a private, healing environment in a beautiful location, staffed with outstanding practitioners;
  • Our unique programs are created by renowned professionals from a range of healing modalities, working as a team to create customised treatment plans with the aim of restoring optimum health within an intensive time-frame; and
  • We instil positive responses and habits in our clients, equipping them to discover and connect with their true, deeper nature.

  • To be efficient and effective.

Testimonials

“….I found it very difficult to find residential treatment for depression in a setting in which I could be comfortable and where confidentiality could be guaranteed. Top marks to the Sanctuary for providing depression treatment in a luxury setting where the needs of corporate executives can be understood and met. I was able to monitor my business even as I surrendered to the care of the program and my dignity was always respected. …..”SP 60 years old
